Ferrocarrils
de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) is a public corporation with its own
independent legal status, subject to private law, and enjoys organisational
autonomy with private assets and full capacity to carry out its ends. The
FGV operates and manages the railway lines and complementary services that
run within the borders of the Valencian Community.
The
Alicante - Denia line, which passes through Benidorm runs for 93 km along
the northern coast of the province of Alicante and has 40 stations and
halts. It is served by 13 diesel trains which operate on the regular line
between Alicante and Denia and 5 trams which cover the Alicante - El Campello
route, via the TRAM Metropolitano train-tram platform. |
