Canelobre Caves (Cuevas del Canelobre)

In the town of Busot, these caves have fantastic shapes and forms, sculptured over many millennia. The extraordinary height of the caves create amazing acoustics, much like in a gothic cathedral and are sometimes used for music concerts.
Summer opening times: July 1st to Sept 15th. 10:30 to 19:50.
Winter opening times: Sept 16 to June 30th.
Mon to Fri 10:30 to 16:50. Sat & Sun 10:30 to 17:50.

Banidoleig Cave (Cueva Benidoleig)

A natural cave with stalagmites 300 meters high! Tools and bones from stone age dwellers have been found there.

Note: Their brochure says stalagmites, but I suspect they're probably stalagtites. Will find out.

Safari Park Vergel

So you thought Terra Natura was the only big Zoo around here? Well its not, there's also the Safari Park in Vergel which has 1,400 animals from 145 species.

Want a real safari? Here's one you can drive through and see the animals in a more natural habitat. There's a 7 km track to drive. There are also areas where you can walk amongst the animals.
